How does Power Plate work?
It uses Advanced Vibration Technology to stimulate your muscles up to 40 times a second, to help tone up, lose weight and reduce cellulite. Power Plate machines use the principles of Acceleration Training™ to stimulate the body’s natural response to vibration. These vibrations transmit waves of energy throughout the body, activating muscle contractions between 25 and 50 times per second, enhancing overall performance
It works equally well for men and women. There are a few medical conditions that would prevent treatment. A full medical questionnaire will be completed by your therapist at the induction.
Number of treatments and frequency
For maximum results 2-3 visits per week is recommended for 6-10 weeks.
How long is a session?
A typical Power Plate workout takes 10-20 minutes.

What should I expect to happen?
Initially you will be screened to check your suitability and then given a 15 minute induction. A workout programme will be devised, taking into consideration your goals, age, fitness level, medical history etc. You will then be free to book in and complete your workouts when convenient.
