Why Epionce’s Corrective Peel is the perfect ‘lunch time facial’
Epionce’s skin peels use a combination of malic and salicylic acids and botanical extracts with anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. The Epionce Corrective Peel provides great corrective benefits with minimal downtime as it is specifically formulated to improve the skin’s appearance and texture by increasing cell turnover.
Hailed as ‘the lunch time facial’, this treatment only takes 45 minutes to 1 hour, and results in minimal downtime. Usually a programme of 3 – 6 peel treatments is recommended, once a month.
What skin issues do the peel treat?
It improves skin tone and texture, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and treats hyperpigmentation, acne and rosacea.
What can you expect during the treatment?
This is a four-step process:
- Preparation
- A two-part peel of Sal-e and Mal-e peels
- A neutraliser
The steps can be used together or as standalone treatments, so the practitioner can customise the treatment to you to ensure the best results possible.
Ingredients
Preparation:
Thorough cleanses, degreases and sterilises the skin’s surface before applying the peel.
Sal-e (Salicylic Acid 28%/php 2.7):
Anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties improve skin clarity and texture by cleansing pores. Lipophilic properties boost the penetration of malic acid for optimum cell turnover.
Willow Bark Extract (2%):
Anti-bacterial and comedolytic properties help cleanse pores.
Onion Bulb Extract (2%):
Anti-inflammatory properties calm and soothe the skin. The extract contains quercetin which encourages collagen and elastin production.
Aftercare
- Treat the skin as if it is sensitive, avoiding heat and harsh products.
