What are Spider Nevi and thread veins?
Spider Nevi / thread veins is a collection of small, dilated arterioles (blood vessels) clustered very close to the surface of the skin. The cluster of vessels is web-like, with a central spot and radiating vessels. They can occur anywhere on the body but are most often found on the legs and face.
What causes Spider Nevi and thread veins?
Spider Nevi can be caused by injuries, sun exposure, hormonal changes, or liver disease, but often the cause is unknown. For most people, the nevi are not a medical concern but in some cases they cause discomfort. The vessel clusters can be treated or removed in a number of ways which include the use of compression stockings, chemical injections and laser treatments.
Thread veins come from normal veins in the skin which grow much bigger than their usual size. They often occur near the ankle, over the inside of the knee and outside of the thigh. Thread veins may occur in the region where a minor injury has caused a bruise.

Aftercare
Mineral make up can be applied but avoid using anti-inflammatory products/medication.
Keep the area cool for 48 hours post treatment and treat as sensitive skin using only mild non perfumed products.
